Pa'u Zotoh Zhaan is 812 cycles old and is a Delvian, a peaceful people who are blue skinned & plant evolved. Though Pa'u means priest, Zhaan was in a Peacekeeper prison for murder, which she committed on her homeworld. She murdered her lover because he 'sold out' Delvia to Peacekeeper rule. She was savage and murderous, however during her prison time she found the Goddess and turned to a life of spiritually, managing to control her murderous & wicked urges.

She is the Earth mother of the Moya crew. She is a healer and skilled with plant life and taking the pain of others. She has superior skills in chemistry ansd other sciences. She has the ability to form and share a unity bond with another, as all Delvians can. She also has the ability to reach people beyond the grave and to return life. Zhaan leaves the Farscape story in season 3, returning once more in the season 4 episode 'John Quixote'. Zhaan's closest bond is with Stark.

Zhaan is played by the serene and elegant Virginia Hey.

Ka D'Argo, known simply as D'Argo is of the Luxan species. He was falsely imprisoned by the peacekeepers for murdering his Sebacean wife Lo'Laan in a fit of Luxan hyper-rage one of three main storylines associated with the character. The second is his quest to find the son he had with Lo'Laan which concludes towards the end of season two opening up a new twist in the beginning of season three.

D'Argo's favourite weapon is his Qualta Blade - a sword/pulse weapon. Despite being short of temper and ruled by his Luxan warrior instinct, he is eventually voted captain by the rest of the Moya crew.

The markings D'Argo has are indicative of the rank of General, though he never actually achieved that rank. He gave himself them to protect the real general of his battalion being captured during a battle which occurred prior to his capture & imprisonment by the peacekeepers. The third storyline involves his turbulent relationship with crewmate Chiana.

D'Argo is played by Anthony Simcoe, he of the wonderful booming voice.

Chiana is a free spirited member of the Nebari species, a grey skinned authoritarian race. She was infected by her people with a virus & sent out to infect others. The Nebari intended it to be activated at a certain time in order to take over control of the galaxy. Her and her brother managed to escape and as she is so valuable to the Nebari they have been trying to re-capture her ever since. She has become skilled at theft, deception and survival. She possesses cat-like agility, is acrobatically gifted and a skilled fighter. She becomes part of the Moya crew late into season one, having been brought aboard as a Nebari prisoner, following an accident between Moya and the Nebari vessel (she is recogised by Crichton for which the reason - the Karen Shaw incident - becomes clear in season four).

During season three an encounter with an unknown species leave her with the gift of forsight, which then evolves to slow motion visio becoming a valuable tool, but leaves her temporarily blind. She develops a turbulent relationship with D'Argo, with she ruins by having an affair with his son. Chiana assisted the ship Moya give birth to Talyn & shares a close bond with both Moya & Pilot because she was Talyn's "midwife." Chiana is very partial to hot Raslak.
